KoForge Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") owns and operates the mobile game reLetter. We are a Private Limited Company registered in England and Wales (Registered Office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ).

1. Scope & Global Compliance

This policy applies to users worldwide. We comply with major data protection frameworks, including:

• UK & EU: UK GDPR and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• USA: California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA.

• Brazil: Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD).

• Canada: Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Age Requirement (13+)

reLetter is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions like the EEA/UK, unless specified otherwise by local law). If we discover data has been collected from a child under 13, it will be deleted immediately.

3. Data Collection (The "What" and "How")

We collect data to provide the game service and improve your experience. We do not collect your real name, email, or physical address.

• Identifiers

  • What we collect: GA4 Pseudo ID, Device Advertising ID (IDFA/GAID), and your chosen leaderboard nickname.

  • Purpose: To track your game progress, display your rank on global leaderboards, and serve personalized advertisements.

• Activity Events (via GA4)

  • What we collect: Records of levels started/ended, tutorial completion, achievements unlocked, in-game currency earned or spent, and usage of app features like the Word Vault or Word Definitions.

  • Purpose: To balance gameplay difficulty, optimize feature performance, and perform internal analytics to improve the game.

• Technical Data

  • What we collect: Your device model, operating system (OS) version, and technical crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics.

  • Purpose: To identify and fix technical bugs, ensuring reLetter remains stable and functional across all devices.

4. Third-Party Partners & Data Sharing

We share pseudonymized data with the following partners to maintain and monetize the app:

• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for event tracking.

• Performance: Firebase Crashlytics for stability monitoring.

• Monetization: Primary Ad Partners. We specifically utilize services from Google AdMob, AppLovin, and Unity Ads. You may review their respective privacy policies on their official websites.

• Dynamic Partner List: In addition to the primary partners, our mediation stack includes several other third-party ad technology providers. A full, comprehensive, and up-to-date list of all advertising partners is available to you at any time within the "Privacy Settings" or "Consent Manager" menu inside the App.

• How Data is Used: These partners may collect and use your Advertising ID and IP address to show you personalized ads (only if you consent) or non-personalized ads, and to measure the performance of those ads.

• Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure (Secure UK-based cloud) for leaderboard storage.

5. International Data Transfers

Since we operate globally, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your home jurisdiction (e.g., servers in the UK, USA, or EU). We utilize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other legally recognized safeguards to ensure your data remains protected regardless of where it is stored.

6. Data Retention (2-Year Rule)

We apply a two-year inactivity rule. If you do not interact with the App for a continuous period of 24 months, we will automatically delete your Pseudo ID, nickname, and all associated game progress from our secure cloud storage.

7. Jurisdiction-Specific Rights

A. European Union & UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data. Our legal bases for processing are Contractual Necessity (for game progress) and Legitimate Interest (for analytics/improvement).

B. United States (CCPA/CPRA - California)

• Notice at Collection: We collect the categories of data listed in Section 3.

• Do Not Sell or Share: We "share" your Advertising ID for personalized ads. You can opt-out of this "sale/sharing" at any time via the in-game Privacy Settings.

• Shine the Light: We do not share your data with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

C. Brazil (LGPD)

Users in Brazil have the right to confirm the existence of processing, access their data, and revoke consent for personalized advertising.

D. Canada (PIPEDA)

We ensure that your data is only used for the purposes explicitly stated in this policy and protected with appropriate technical safeguards.
